Taking on City Hall Part TWO TRUE STORY!

  On Oct 2 I went to a city cruise in  on the square where one of the hotrodders I didn't know and who had a white patch on his cheek, said, "I want nothing to do with your run."

I asked "Did you have a problem ?"

 "I SAW YOU AT THE FLEA MKT IN FLORIDA!"

Well after processing that thought and knew I had not been to a flea mkt in FLorida in 16 years I knew he was mistaken. Then I thought maybe he was at Webster last year when I did my book signing, so I said Webster?
His response, "I don't want to get into it."

"Who are you?"

"I KNOW WHO YOU ARE..you don't know me." 

"I think you got me confused with someone else"

I thought he was a wierdo and walked away.. 

I had the American Legion Riders lined up to help with parking etc and on Thursday before convoy I went to city hall to get my parade permit. That asshole came out and said "I'm NOT APPROVING THIS!" I said, "You sayin I can't have my convoy?"

  "No, I'm saying YOU WILL HAVE TO OBEY THE LAWS AND STOP AT EVERY LIGHT IN TOWN" There are like 3 lights. Nothing like endangering everyone.

He said mockingly , "Here's WHY.........the city can't afford to bring in cops to escort for your LITTLE THING".

  I said "can the sheriff help?

  "He can do what he wants"

so I went to Steve and told him and he said "Don't worry about them I will get you thru town.  They have their cruise in on the square and don't need you any more."

Seems my  convoy is the LONGEST RUNNING EVENT THERE and the thought of some biker bitch doing something good was more than they could stand.

  On Friday at 5 pm I got a call from the director of American Legion Riders who said  "Been hearing some vile things about you."

  Really?

  "What's your FLORIDA CONNECTION?"

   I then could hear that hot rodder....... Flea market ...FLORIDA.

I said let me guess....you heard I was taking the toys to a flea mkt in FL and selling them."

  When he said YES I went the hell off. "Who told you that lie? thinking they had found the mystery hotrodder .

His answer knocked me out!
"I heard it at THE MAYOR"S OFFICE at a PHOTO SHOOT. A little bald headed guy who turned out to  be a capt and the CHIEF had told them all at the shoot I was taking these toys out of state and selling them OMG!  I was PISSED TO NO END!  The cops were spreading this fuck'n outright lie!

  Long story short ALR backed out of helping me even after me explaining about the Ivan kids all because someone said "THEY HAD PROOF>THEY HAD PICTURES AND VIDEO of me selling toys 7 years ago in a fuckn huricane ravashed town. I knew that was a fuck'n lie.

  I had the convoy  and LOTS of bikers came out and the hotrods were down by 40 or so vehicles.  I went to the city hall meeting Dec 20 and I was going to confront them and get this out in the open..it was being videoed by Ch 6

Upon entering the meeting I gave each alderman a copy of the news article I had found in archives from 2004 stating we were helping those kids and a letter from DOC FISH sating where the toys had gone.

  When I started with the flyers the mayor interupts and says You need the safety committee"

"No mam, I don't"

"You need to come back and talk to the safety committee'

"No mam I don't may I speak or do you know what I'm going to say and want me out?"

She said Safety again and I finally said, "This isn't about safety it's about ETHICS.

"REMOVE HER FROM THE ROOM!'

Before they removed me, I said "MAYOR on Nov 4 AMLR gave a check to the city while Ross Simmons, You and Scott Peterson told them I was taking these toys out of state and selling them and I don't appreciate it."

She said,"I heard no such thing.!" What a blatant LIE!

All the while here comes the asshole who refused my permit and the chief closing in behind and they escorted me out.

  After I was removed an alderman said, "I was at the sheriff's dept when she loaded those toys and TOOK THEM SOMEPLACE> Well duh? The fuckn county helped me load those toys to take to Pcola.

  Then the chief spoke up and said, I got a witness I can bring in who said he saw her at the flea mkt in FL selling these toys." WTF  They are still talking and I'm not there to even defend myself.

  Bout that time, mayor peeks around him and sees the camera recording in the back and says, "This is mostly heresay and this is not the place to be discussing this."  Ya fuckn think??

   I GOT A COPY OF THE DVD AND IT'S BEING TRANSCRIBED.  I JUST PUT A BIG LETTER TO THE ED IN THE LOCAL PAPER AND IT CAME OUT SAT CALLING THEM OUT ON THIS SHIT.

 I may not have got my say at city hall meeting but did in the paper. So now I am waiting for the aftershocks. This is as sorry as it gets.

  Seems the bald guy(capt) and the first hotrodder are both in same club and want to be the big dog in town. The newspaper who has shunned the convoy for several years is run by the capt's son. The strange hotrodder is still a mystery but he has a distinct white mark on his face.

  I am going to fight this until my death I promise you that. i didn't work this hard to have some blackhearted greeneyed bastard take my convoy.  I called them out in the paper for the liar they are and told them to bring on their proof for ALL TO SEE. It's a lie and you know it.  Am I pissed or what?.

So that's what I have been putting up with lately..........Lying ASSHOLES IN CITY HALL! If they will do this to me a local business owner who has donated thousands of dollars in toys to them over the year, what would they do to someone else?
